ME!

Photobucket

Music in May

Its been a while since my last post. The April 3rd show @ the Skoolhouse went good. Kinda got screwed on my sound, and I went on last, and everyone was wasted by time I even went on. Actually, I got paid a little, which I definitely didnt want, nor expect. But, other than that it went really good. I had a well-rehearsed set-list, to guide me through. Havent even really seen or talked with the boys from C.P., since. Dont really know why, but. They're good people, and regaurdless, they know whats up. Hope DUBSTEP didnt shake their souls....

Last Saturday, May 2nd I played a house party with my own surround sound theater system from home, and had this Soulard house BUMPING!!! Homegirl Martha was the shit for letting me do it. And actually knows more about Dubstep, than most of my homies do. Which to me, is a turn on, if a girl knows her music. ESPECIALLY DUBSTEP! ha ha. Anyways, people were ALL in the house, and backyard getting down! It started at 11:30 p.m.. Ended around 4:00 a.m. when the police showed up. The cops were telling everyone to get the fuck out, but gave me the DJ card and was like take your time, man. It was very cool, to say the least. Also, learned alot experience wise this night. I learned how to read a crowd. Setting songs for the mood, at a specific time. That was even cool.

Alls I am gonna be doing this upcoming week is trying to get and book shows. Zak and Candice said they'd be my support/streetteam/help. Which is great and would be great, cuz you dont realize it, but sometimes you need a homie helping you with your gear. Or just to have an extra pair of eyes at an event is pretty sweet. Im gonna see whats up with the Urban Lounge & Parkside Lounge. And cant wait to finally play @ Upstairs Lounge with my man, Caustik. That'd be great. So people, im off to make a few calls. Its 12:45 on a Monday afternoon. Perfect time to make some calls.

(BTW) I will surely update this more! :)
